We Educate the personal Relationship with Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, made flesh in the womb of the Virgin Mary for the redemption of humanity. He is the centre of existence for all Christians. For this reason, Mater Salvatoris School offers its students the opportunity to maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, through the liturgy, the frequent celebration of the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Confession.

The School’s timetable includes the necessary catechesis for receiving two Sacraments:

  • First Communion
  • Confirmation

As with all personal relationships, it is important to understand that significant life events are celebrated and enthusiastically planned. For this reason, Advent and Lent are special events at the School, while there are numerous solemn celebrations of feast days, especially those related to the Virgin Mary.

WE EDUCATE THE LOVE OF THE VIRGIN MARY

The School is entrusted to Her protection and it is under Her title, Mater Salvatoris, that this model has been established to offer students profound faith, absolute trust in God, and the power to give of themselves. She helps us on our day-to-day path.

It is for this reason that the feast days dedicated to the Virgin are celebrated with particular devotion:

  • Virgin Child.
  • Immaculate Conception.
  • Incarnation of Christ, the School’s main feast day.
  • May, month of flowers, offered to Mary…

Her yes to God changed the course of humanity and made her not only the Mother of the Saviour, but also our Mother.
